Job Description
- Inspect the final product to make sure it has been built in compliance with legal standards and meets customer expectations.
- The goal is to help preserve our reputation by ensuring that our products and services are capable to drive sustainable growth.
- Devise and review specifications for products or processes,
- Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance,
- Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards,
- Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements,
- Approve the right products or reject defectives,
- Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis,
- Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives,
- lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures
- Create tests for quality control of products
- Disassemble wooding product parts to inspect them individually
- Direct assembly adjustments to ensure operations reflect quality standards
Job Requirements
- Must be knowledgeable of Textile and furniture manufacturing processes and physical characteristics of wood and textile.
- Must be knowledgeable of finishing processes and possess the ability to establish acceptable color ranges.
- Must be knowledgeable of the Quality tools used to monitor the process and make improvements.
- can identify improvements and implement them.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills, along with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Must be proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Office
- Must be focused and attentive to details.
- Must be able to function with interruptions and deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Two-year college degree in a relevant field is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in quality control, preferably within the furniture or cabinet industry.
- Experience with or strong knowledge of furniture and textile manufacturing processes.
