Finance Manager at Abou Ghaly Motors
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance or a relevant discipline
CMA is a must.
MBA in Financial Management is an Advantage.
CPA/CFA is a plus.
Job Description
- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
- Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
- Maintain the financial health of the organization.
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
- Develop trends and projections for the business line finances.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
- Manage the preparation of the company’s budget
- Create and maintain a series of financial controls and procedures for the finance department.
- Conduct periodic audits of budget items, including comparing per-diems to actual expenses and other budget-to-actual comparisons.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
- Support the planning and forecasting processes, preparing consolidated planning & forecast data, with detailed analyses, overviews and presentations
- Plan and analyze regional and cluster expenses; provide input for monthly, quarterly and annual closures
- Provide financial infrastructure, reporting tools and accurate financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Implement financial process and policy where relevant to ensure the company is reporting all financial and other information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Develop, communicate and administer Finance team performance, development plans and appraisals.
- Participate in projects and ad-hoc tasks as required.
