A fully interoperable mobile wallet which enables users to send and receive money from any mobile wallet in Egypt, pay their bills, buy anything online with a virtual Visa card, or scan any QR code to pay for anything in-person. Axis empowers small businesses with simplified digital payments to compete & grow. Our digital banking platform enables small businesses to seamlessly manage payments to employees and suppliers. Small businesses can now send salaries, reimbursements and instantly pay their suppliers on any mobile wallet in Egypt.

Overview of the Role

We are looking for a Content Creator to build relevant content to grow the Axis community, and to keep them active and engaged.

This will involve creating financial education content, product content, and partnership content for different channels including the blog, social media posts, video scripts, and promotional content like brochures.

Content will have the objective to educate prospective consumers and to build awareness & trust, generate leads, and grow engagement of the axis wallet.

What you’ll be doing

• Support the growth team to build a community of brand advocates by coming up with creative & unique content ideas & owning the content calendar
• Create engaging content to establish axis as a thought leader in the financial space among small business founders, startup founders, & solopreneurs.
• Develop content on social media platforms, including posts, articles, infographics, short-form content, reels, scripts and other branded/promotional content
• Write, proofread, edit, and update all types of content in English & Arabic
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, graphic designers, performance marketing manager, to brainstorm, develop, and test new content topics & formats
• Adopt the Axis tone of voice and create consistency across the different channels
• Understand potential consumer segments that we should target, work with the performance marketing manager to test online strategies, messaging and campaigns.
• Enhance the engagement of Axis wallet users to the different product features through building relevant feature content.
• Work with the wider growth function on campaigns, such as new product launches, new segment launches and new partnerships.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in content creation
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English & Arabic
• Proven experience as a content creator creating engaging content & owning a content calendar
• Willingness to understand motivations, behaviors, media consumption of potential target segments in order to come up with content ideas & execute against them
• Demonstrated track record of working with cross-functional teams to create engaging content for social media, blogs, and video
• Hyper creative in your approach to campaigns and copies
• Solid background in writing social media blog content, and in driving lead generation
• Good knowledge of the competitive space and willingness to learn more
• Comfortable working in a scrappy startup environment
