Receptionist

Statements for Consulting

Sheraton, Cairo

Job Description

  • Greet and welcome clients/visitors as soon as they arrive and direct them to the appropriate person/office
  • Answer phones in a professional manner, and schedule appointments when needed
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily deliveries
  • Ensure reception area and all common areas are tidy and presentable including all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
  • Schedule meetings and prepare meeting rooms accordingly
  • Make all arrangements needed for any business trip including travel and accommodations reservations
  • Order office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Maintain updated records of office expenses and costs
  • Assist colleagues with administrative tasks
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning ..etc
  • Follow up on office maintenance and schedule maintenance visits when needed

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any filed
  • 0 – 2 work experience as a receptionist or similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. printers)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
