Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team and work remotely from home. As an Online Video Editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw video footage into compelling and polished videos that align with our brand’s vision and objectives. Your primary goal will be to create engaging video content that captivates our target audience and communicates our message effectively.
Working Hours: This is a full-time position, requiring approximately 8 hours of work per day, with some flexibility in work hours to accommodate different time zones or project demands.
Responsibilities:
- Edit short-form videos for YouTube Shorts platform
- Create visually stunning and engaging content that resonates with our target audience
- Work closely with the content team to ensure the video content aligns with our brand voice and values
- Collaborate with other team members, including scriptwriters and graphic designers, to produce high-quality videos
- Work within a budget and timeline to deliver videos on time and on budget
- Continuously research and incorporate new video editing techniques and trends to improve video quality and audience engagement
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a portfolio showcasing a range of video editing work.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of video composition, color theory, and storytelling techniques.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, as collaboration with the content team and receiving feedback are crucial parts of the role.
- A good computer or laptop with the necessary hardware and software to handle high-definition video editing efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
- Familiarity with different video formats, codecs, and exporting settings for various platforms.
- Knowledge of audio editing and sound design is a plus.
- Creative mindset with the ability to bring innovative ideas to video projects.
- Previous experience working remotely or independently is preferred.
