SEO Specialist_VOIS
:Role Purpose
This position will be joining the Vodafone UK Business’ Demand Centre team and will be responsible for search engine optimization strategy and activation for all business segments.You will work closely with marketing managers, product owners, digital content managers, copywriters, etc across all of Vodafone Business’ industries, functional and technical topics to maximize organic exposure and search engine rankings.You will be hands-on improving meta data, refining keywords, engaging with developers providing the SEO technical guidance to improve the website, defining content strategies while executing on winning, latest trends and best practices white-hat search-driven strategies.You will also keep a keen eye on the user experience conversion journeys and work closely with website owners and UX experts to ensure high-quality end-to-end experiences.
Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership:
Drive SEO, through managing and improving website content and technical areas to increase webpage ranking and natural search volumes
Contribute to the content strategy of the team to ensure that propositions and activity will achieve digital engagement
Provide reporting and insight on SEO performance, giving us a view on performance vs competitors and key market trends
Core Competencies, Knowledge and Experience:
3 years of experience in SEO; excellent knowledge of technical SEO and digital content optimization
Deep understanding of web traffic metrics
Advanced Knowledge of SEO tools, such as, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs etc
Knowledge and experience using Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Great on story telling with the ability to confidently present results, insights and recommendations to Business stakeholders at Head of and Director levels
Experience working within a marketing team, sharing insight and knowledge
