Job Description
We are seeking a Junior Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and goal-oriented individual who is passionate about sustainability and reducing the environmental impact of single-use plastics. The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business, assisting with existing accounts, and supporting the Senior Sales Executive in achieving revenue targets.
The incumbent be required to carry out the following:
Assist Senior Sales Executive in executing a sales plan to meet revenue targets
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, and networking
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales plans that align with the company’s overall business objectives
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders in the industry
Assist with sales presentations and proposals to potential customers
Prepare and deliver sales reports and analyses to the Senior Sales Executive
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the field of alternatives for single-use plastic
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
1-2 years of experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the plastics industry or a related field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for sustainability and reducing the environmental impact of single-use plastics
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
Willingness to travel as needed to attend trade shows
