- درجة البكالوريوس في الاتصالات أو الصحافة أو مجال ذي صلة. درجة متقدمة هي ميزة إضافية.
- على الأقل خمس سنوات من الخبرة المثبتة في العلاقات العامة والتوعية العامة أو الاتصالات، ويفضل أن تكون في مشاريع ممولة من الجهات المانحة.
- مطلوب فهم قوي لسياق البلد وأصحاب المصلحة الرئيسيين.
- إثبات النزاهة والبراعة والمهارات الشخصية.
- مهارات قوية في الاتصال والتقديم الكتابية والشفوية باللغة الإنجليزية والعربية مطلوبة.

About the job
Chemonics International seeks a Communications Specialist for the anticipated USAID-funded Egypt Macroeconomic Activity. The project will seek to address macroeconomic issues and enhance the resiliency of Egypt’s macroeconomic framework. The Communications Specialist will report to the Deputy Chief of Party and support project implementation by developing and managing public awareness and communications strategies and overseeing the production of products and materials required to achieve the project outcomes.
This position will be based in Cairo. We are looking for dynamic individuals with a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy that will set content and quality standards for all project materials and outreach, including identifying, preparing, and disseminating core messages, results, and successes of the project to target audiences.
- Work with project leadership and team members to develop communications activities which support the implementation of the project components.
- Design, manage, and oversee implementation of communications campaigns to ensure compliance of all project materials with USAID branding and marketing guidelines.
- Organize media events, including press conferences, TV/radio programs, public discussions, opinion surveys, workshops, and other events to promote project activities, results, and successes.
- Monitor the impact of public awareness/communications activities.
- Support the development and review of project publications and deliverables.
- Apply understanding of country context and key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
- At least five years of demonstrated experience in public relations, public outreach, or communications, preferably for donor-funded projects.
- Strong understanding of the country context and key stakeholders required.
- Demonstrated integrity, versatility, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English and Arabic required.
