Social Media Student Recruitment
The American University in Cairo
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and delivery of the social media content marketing plan which provides target audience with all required information
- Develop and implement a comprehensive year-round plan to keep supporters and partners informed and engaged
- Ensure that all social media activities are in alignment with AUC marketing and communication team
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technology
- Coordinate content plan with other teams, departments and offices at the University
- Bring together all the brand elements (messaging, insights from marketing team and audiences, content from other teams)
- Publish and repurpose content across approved central social media brand outposts such as copies, articles, photography, video and so on
- Liaise with internal stakeholders on community management queries/issues
- Deploy approved statements during crisis management
- Take part in recruitment activities locally and internationally as needed
- Perform any other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum Education Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in relevant fields; graphic design, communication and media arts
Experience:
- At least 7-9 years of relevant experience
- Significant experience managing and developing social media marketing programs both organic and paid
- Experience in conducting data analysis from leads
Skills:
- Must possess a good understanding of the social media landscape end-to-end
- Strong English writing skills are mandatory
- Maintain a professional approach at all times
- Time management and ability to prioritize work
- Manage work effectively and deliver to deadlines both internal and external
- Work with other staff effectively to help maximize team outputs
- Awareness and topline understand of other marketing communications disciplines
