CORPORATE BANKING SPECIALIST for CIB
Job Purpose
Assist the team in implementing the daily transactions of the corporate clients and coordinating with the various departments of the bank to ensure top quality service and efficient TAT .
Description
Account Management
Review daily balance of all clients and recommend the appropriate transfers/bookings to cover overdrawn accounts based on understanding of the customer’s facilities, limits, documentation and supports pertaining to each line.
Issue the loan loss report segregated by R.R.
Communicate and coordinate with all departments to ensure the implementation of the clients requirements based on the approved facilities/services.
Seek assistance from supervising officer in case of complex enquiries or problems.
Monitor continuously customer facilities and support packages and ensuring full understanding the different facility structures.
Assist Relationship officers in referring clients to the other lines of business based on understanding of the different departments scope of work e.g. account services, L/Gs, L/Cs, dealing, branches group and central operations…etc.
Process simple client restructure memos.
Prepare monthly performance reports for direct and contingent facilities.
Accommodate customers’ business transactions and information requirements via different channels including online channels.
Maintain carefully Bank’s and Clients’ data, documents and forms in an efficient and timely manner, and according to the Bank’s SOPs and manuals.
Ensure awareness and adherence to the SOPs policies, Bank Code of Conduct, internal policies and procedures.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and colleagues bank-wide.
Policies, Processes and Procedures
Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
Day-to-day operations
Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the Corporate Banking department to ensure continuity of work
Compliance
Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies (especially the Credit Policy guide) and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks
Qualifications
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor degree of Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or its equivalent.
0- 2 years of experience in banking operations is of added value.
Skills
Excellent command of English and Arabic languages, a third language is a plus.
