Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Specialist- Engineering located in Cairo, Egypt. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for conducting market research, generating leads, and providing exceptional customer service to potential and existing clients. The successful candidate will need to travel to clients sites as necessary, to establish relationships and identify opportunities for growth.

Key deliverables (Essential duties and responsibilities)

  • Search new leads from within the country and the MENA region
  • Developing long term relationships with prospective customers through managing and interpreting their requirements
  • Understanding the customer requirements of technical specifications, quality, price and other measurable
  • Provide vital inputs to the teams in UK for sourcing such products
  • Assist in developing strategies for marketing products. Sales Channels Vs Direct Marketing
  • Prepare Reports for the Management
  • Prepare Sales Forecasts and Budgets
  • Meet Sales Targets and Co-ordinate Sales
  • Make Technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets the customer’s requirements.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and identify business opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex propositions effectively to prospective clients.
  • Experience in lead generation and closing deals
  • Experience in conducting market research and analyzing data.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships
  • Fluent in English and Arabic is a must
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry would be an advantage.
