Senior Cost Accountant

About the job
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
Analyze and recommend costs and cost savings.
Prepare and complete internal cost audits.
Comply with Accounting Principles (IFRS) for financial statements.
Analyze the data collected and log a detailed record of the results.
Analyze any changes in goods or services provided in order to determine what effect it has on the cost.
Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
Make estimates of new and proposed product costs.
Provide management with reports that specify and compare factors that affect prices and profitability of products or services.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
At least 10 years of cost accounting experience.
It will be preferable if he holds the (CMA).
Working Conditions:
Full- Time, average of 40 hours per week in a normal office setting, often working in front of a computer.
Regular office hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm although there may be a need to work overtime to meet deadlines.

This varies according to candidate’s experience and academic qualifications.
