Job purpose

Proceed with precise and deep assessment of credit risks to credit exposures under assigned business sectors, safeguarding the credit policy and monitoring overall quality of Banks and leasing company loan portfolio.

GENERIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Corporate Governance and Compliance: Work fully within risk policies, procedures and all compliance regulations.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Credit Risk Process:

  • Conduct precise risk assessment for all presented credit packages for corporate / leasing exposures including deep financial analysis and analyzing cash flow projections in case of medium- and long-term finance in addition to clients asset conversion cycles to identify the accurate financial gap and to ensure the ideal structure of proposed credit facilities.
  • Capture all risks involved in all types of credit facilities granted to all types of legal entities and individuals, in each Executive Summary to help the credit approving authority to take the right decision, which in turn help to safeguard the bank interests.
  • Analyze and recommend proposed facility structure for each client under assigned business sectors.
  • Ensure that all financial data where prepared and presented accurately either on the spreadsheet template or on the S&P system.
  • Review and confirm the accuracy of proposed Obligor Risk Rating that impact-required provision for the client affecting overall Banks profitability.
  • Review the credit packages to ensure compliance with Banks / CBEs policies & procedures and in line with the locally applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ensure that all collaterals & securities were obtained, enhancing Banks asset quality.
  • Review & ensure the accuracy of each clients RAROC.
  • Conducts portfolio reviews upon requested by Banks management.
  • Responsible for preparing sectorial analysis for all assigned business sectors.
  • Responsible for raising early warning signs to his / her superior.

2. Manage Credit Portfolio under each Business Sectors:

  • Control the percentage of each business sector to avoid concentration in specific sector.
  • Update sectorial reports semi-annually that assists banks top management in setting-up concentration limit for each business sector.
  • Prepare quarterly concentration reports (by limit) in order to identify the credit portfolio sector concentrations.
  • Prepare all reports that are g requested by Banks Management regarding assigned business sectors portfolios.

3. Follow up: Revises Reports received from follow-up department

  • Implements the early warning signs, through close monitoring of clients accounts and raise any noticed weakness according to approved procedures.
  • Revises received reports from credit follow-up, discuss negative signs with related corporate team, and raise issues to the line manager.

4.Drafting: Draft letters, memorandums, reports, reviews, forms, etc.

Education

  • Bachelors degree of related discipline OR equivalent experience.
  • Credit course is a must.
