About the job

At Rasayel (https://rasayel.io), we are building the next-generation platform to help businesses grow over WhatsApp. We closed our seed round last year with some ambitious investors in the US & EU. We dream big and have lots of exciting plans ahead.

We started small with a stellar group of designers, engineers, and product folks and we are now excited to start building a world-class sales team. This is where YOU come in the picture! We are seeking to hire our first Sales Executives, to work closely with one of our founders and significantly grow our revenue in the MENA region. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing SaaS company at an early stage, play a key role as we scale our company, and work with a talented and welcoming team.

About the role

As an early member of the sales team, you will have a huge impact on the trajectory of the company. Working closely with one of our founders, you will:

  • Own the full sales cycle from inbound lead to close and consistently hit or exceed your sales targets.
  • Help us to refine our account prospecting and outbound strategies, using your entrepreneurial mindset and ability to think from first principles.
  • Execute on prospecting and outbound to generate additional lead flow, which you will own from lead to close.
  • Lead and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process.
  • Surface customer insights to our product, engineering and customer success teams to help drive product strategy.

As we scale you will learn new skills and take on new responsibilities, with significant career growth opportunities available. This role is 100% remote, once onboarding is completed (during onboarding, you will work with us in our temporary co-working space in Cairo).

About you

A little bit about what we think can be a good fit for us:

  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience selling B2B software (SaaS), with a track record of top performance (eg. quota attainment).
  • You have excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • In the course of your work you have developed technical acumen; for example, you could give a basic explanation of how APIs work, how to connect Zapier between two tools, and so on.
  • You are scrappy, can figure things out from first principles, and can work without constant guidance.
  • You have experience with prospecting and outbound lead generation, either as an SDR/BDR, or in your role as a Sales Executive.
  • A nice-to-have: Your experience includes relatively fast deal cycles (less than one month) and deal sizes of less than $5k ACV.
  • You can communicate fluently in English and Arabic.
  • You have some remote experience, and you understand its challenges.
  • You can take, and give feedback openly.
  •      You are high energy 🙂

:About pay & benefits

  • Base salary range of EGP 28,000 – 40,000 p/m, depending on experience.
  • Generous and uncapped commission structure, paid in USD.
